Merry Christmas from our Present Shark!

December 25, 2012

What is a Present Shark? First, some background on sharks:

When sharks go into a feeding frenzy they will eat anything that are in their vicinity, including things that we would consider non-edible and other sharks. They get so caught up in the frenzy that they are no long discriminate as to what they will bite or eat. often scientist, or those trying to catch sharks will trow lots of bait into the water, or chum it, to encourage a feeding frenzy.

So how does this relate to my daughter?

This morning while opening up presents she was more excited about opening them than anything else, and would run around and grab other people’s presents, rip off the paper, drop the present and then go after the next gift. When people would bring out more gifts it was as if they were chumming with gifts for the Present Shark.

Yes, we did sing the Jaws song.

It was adorable, but only because she won’t be 2 until January.

Hide your presents when my daughter is around, or the Present Shark just might leave you a pile of unwrapped gifts with a pile of shredded wrapping paper on the floor.

And here reaching for unopened presents from my Aunt Judy – she opened hers and mine, and started on her brothers before he got it from her.

Merry Christmas to All, and if you need any presents opened I have a Present Shark that can help!
