In one of my trade magazines I came across a “self emulsifying” scrub recipe – and thought I would give it a try. My first test (I made about a 3.5 ounce batch so that I could try it) was that it was ok, needed more sugar in it (too much oil and not enough scrubby) and that I needed to also play with the scent that I was trying (I’m working on a new custom scent for summer – somthing fresh, a little fruity, and fun!).
So it will be back to my work bench to adjust the recipe, and then back into the shower (the next time I shower, I don’t shower just to tryout a new product) for another test. I have a feeling that this is going to take some time, but I’m willing to work on it!
