This week it is my Frankincense & Myrrh Handmade Soap – SEASONAL EDITION. This scent reminds me of lying on the beach somewhere in the warm sun, white sand and a drink in my hand that has an umbrella in it. The lime scent is the leading scent in this soap and the coconut scent is definitely very light. Most of the coconut is in the coconut oil and the coconut cream that are the base for this soap.

I had 2 customers at last week’s farmer’s market ask me for products that I don’t normally carry, but was happy to make for them on special order and bring to this week’s farmer’s Market for them.

Multi-Swirl Bar

I finished cutting my soap from the multi-colored swirl and here it is! The photo of it is as it is sitting on my soap cutter, and while it still needs to cure it smells amazing! I’m planning on doing more swirls with color over the next few weeks, so stay tuned!

New items at the Farmer’s Market today

I have 3 new products that will debut at the Farmer’s Market today and be available for purchase starting tomorrow.

Citrus Splash Creamy Sugar Scrub – my new line of Creamy sugar scrubs that are creamy and rich and don’t leave an oil slick in the bath or shower! They are a new staple in my shower.

Lavender Creamy Sugar Scrub – same great scrub now in lavender.

Lavender Hand & Body Lotion – I found a lotion safe lavender fragrance oil that smells like lavender Essential Oil but without the cost.

More Lavender Products Soon!

I had to take down some of my products because my supplier had changed the formulation of the lavender fragrance oil and it wasn’t safe for lotion use (or any product where the fragrance oil would spend prolonged time on the skin).

Because of this I’ve ordered some from a new supplier and I should have it in time to have more Lavender Scented products for this weeks Farmer’s Market. Stay tuned!

Stocking up for 1st Farmer’s Market

I’ve been busy stocking up for my 1st Farmer’s Market this coming Saturday. In the past I have generally made items to order (with the exception of Handmade Soaps), but trying to get ready for the Farmer’s Market showed me that I didn’t have as many raw materials in stock as I thought. Because of this I have had to place several orders from my suppliers over the past week and hope that they all come in time for me to use them for this week. If not I will also have plenty of supplies for future weeks, so I’m not to worried about that.

I’m going to spend tomorrow taking photos of the new labeling and new bath salts and hope to have them up by Friday at the latest.

This week it is my Red Wine Handmade Soap. I start this soap with real California Wine from a local winery and then turn it into a creamy soap. I add Red Wine Fragrance Oil to it to give it a special touch. No color is added to this soap, the color that you see comes from the wine.

Happy Father’s Day

Today is the day that we celebrate Fathers and I am blessed to be able to spend this day with 3 generations of Fathers in my family. Both of my grandfathers, my Dad, and my husband (the father of our lovely son).

Often I think that Father’s are unsung heroes in the lives of children, and are given a hard time by society. All I can say is that I’m bless to be surrounded by great Fathers on the wonderful day.
